Let's TalkBuilt by Operators, for Operators
Why EHI?
We're a boutique firm by design. When you work with EHI, you work directly with a principal — not an account manager three layers removed from your property. Our approach is simple: eliminate inefficiencies, run lean, and deliver measurable results.
What We Do
Six core disciplines covering every aspect of your operation.
Lean operations management. Right-sized staffing models. Systems that reduce waste while simultaneously improving guest satisfaction scores and operational efficiency.
Data-driven pricing strategies. We don't guess — we analyze market dynamics, demand patterns, and competitive positioning to ensure you're never leaving money on the table.
Targeted strategies that drive bookings without overspending. We leverage both in-house capabilities and third-party partnerships to deliver maximum return on your marketing investment.
Profitable F&B programs through menu engineering, vendor negotiations, and cost controls that never sacrifice quality. Every program is optimized for your specific market.
Transparent budgets and accurate forecasting. You'll have real-time visibility into every dollar spent and why. No surprises. Complete financial accountability.
Property Improvement Plans can be overwhelming and expensive if not managed correctly. We handle the entire process A to Z — scope review, budgeting, vendor selection, timeline management, and final compliance — so every renovation dollar is spent with purpose.
Consulting & Advisory
Sometimes you need an experienced operator for a specific problem, on a specific timeline. Our consulting engagements give owners senior-level expertise without a long-term commitment — parachute in, fix what needs fixing, and leave you stronger than we found you.
Facing a brand-mandated renovation? We translate the PIP into a clear scope and budget, negotiate with vendors, manage the timeline, and shepherd the property through final brand compliance — often saving owners far more than our fee.
From right-sizing your team to building accountability and improving retention, we help you put the right people in the right roles. We audit staffing models, coach management, and establish the systems that keep good employees performing.
We dig line by line through your profit-and-loss statement to find the leaks — inflated vendor contracts, labor inefficiencies, missed revenue. You get a clear, prioritized action plan showing exactly where dollars are being lost and how to recover them.
Underperforming property? We assess operations top to bottom — guest satisfaction, brand standards, revenue management, and cost structure — then build and execute a focused recovery plan to get the asset back on track and profitable.
A focused audit of your pricing, distribution channels, and competitive set. We identify where you're leaving money on the table and deliver concrete recommendations to capture more of your market's demand.
Considering a purchase? Before you commit capital, we evaluate the property's operations, condition, brand standing, and financials — giving you a clear-eyed view of the risks and the real upside so you negotiate from a position of strength.
Built for Owners Who Watch the Bottom Line
Because we're owners and operators ourselves, we see your property the way you do — as an investment that has to perform.
Every decision we make is the decision we'd make if it were our own capital on the line. That's the difference between a management company that simply runs your hotel and a partner that's genuinely invested in its success. We've sat in your chair, signed the same loan documents, and felt the same pressure to deliver returns.
Lean management structure. We keep costs down without compromising service quality or operational excellence.
Vendor negotiations across all properties reduce costs without sacrificing quality. Your money goes further.
Real-time financial visibility. Know exactly where every dollar goes and why. No surprises, no hidden costs.
Our principals are directly involved in your properties — not delegated to junior staff. You're working with experienced operators who care about results.
Our Portfolio
A growing portfolio of managed properties across the Gulf South and Mountain West — spanning acquisitions, PIP execution, turnarounds, and ongoing management.
Acquired February 2023 and managed under a management contract. The property was mid-renovation at takeover. EHI directed the completion of the Formula Blue Property Improvement Plan from start to finish — coordinating vendors, managing timelines, and controlling costs — while keeping guest satisfaction at all-time highs and increasing hotel revenue above pre-pandemic levels.
Managed under a management contract in downtown Alexandria, Louisiana. EHI oversees day-to-day operations while actively assisting ownership through the property's Property Improvement Plan — guiding scope, budgeting, and vendor coordination to keep the renovation on track and on budget while protecting the guest experience.
Managed under a management contract in Lafayette, Louisiana. EHI directs operations, revenue management, and cost controls for this select-service property — applying the same disciplined, owner-aligned approach that drives performance across our portfolio.
Currently under contract for purchase. EHI led the acquisition due diligence and will take over management upon closing. The property is slated for a full Property Improvement Plan, with our team directing the entire renovation — scope assessment, budgeting, vendor coordination, and brand compliance — to reposition the asset and protect every dollar of the capital investment.
Beyond our managed portfolio, our team is actively engaged with hotel owners across multiple markets — providing the hands-on expertise that protects and grows their investment.
